A challenging site sloping away from the classrooms, the Toorak College ELC required a significant landscape improvement.
New playspace terraces were designed to provide a variety of play opportunities for students and paths of coloured rubber laid out to connect spaces.
The coastal location provided the inspiration behind ocean themed play equipment, coastal town cubby houses and local native planting.
The real focal point is a new fun way for students to access the garden via a spiral slide down from the classroom verandah!
The students now have level areas to use, which allow for a diverse range of fun learning and play opportunities.
