A new home in Beaumaris was given the perfect garden surrounds for a young family to enjoy.
With all aspects complementing the Hamptons style of the architecture, Davidson Design Studio designed a front garden to frame the home, provide welcoming pedestrian and vehicular entry and utilise existing coastal trees.
A capped timber picket fence provides subtle enclosure to the garden, light exposed aggregate pavement creates texture without dominating the colours of the house facade, while a small timber decking area is located amoungst existing feature palms and is a lush outlook from the home office.
The existing site levels to the rear garden provided challenges, however these were addressed with a raised firepit space, custom made weathering steel planter and seating, and a timber bridge connection to the existing alfresco decking.
Evergreen screen planting runs along the rear boundaries to provide a lush backdrop to the garden, while colourful border planting defines the edges of the functional synthetic turf activity space.
The perfect connection to the living spaces and swimming pool, Davidson Design Studio teamed up with Tony Blackford Landscaping and Pools to create endless outdoor opportunities for the family to enjoy.
